Team REIL has been in the construction business for more than 30 years. John Cederlund, President of Team REIL Inc., originally founded REIL Construction in 1991 to provide construction services to park and recreation agencies throughout northern and central Illinois. As years passed, the company expanded in both size and services offered and developed into Team REIL.

Tim Cederlund, Executive Vice President of Construction, is now driving this aspect of Team REIL today. Tim has been with the company since inception and brings more than 16 years of experience in all levels of park and recreation construction to any project Team REIL is involved with. Tim has managed hundreds of projects ranging in size from $10,000 to $2,000,000. Tim is a knowledgeable superintendent and expert operator and recently achieved Certified Field Builder status with the American Sports Builders Association. This is an accomplishment matched by fewer than 50 individuals nationwide. Team REIL utilizes customized laser grading equipment and Tim has worked closely with the software manufacturer to develop the company’s fleet of GPS guided equipment. Tim is well respected in the field by both peers and past clients and is a frequent consultant on specialty construction projects for past clients, architects, and engineers.

Team REIL also offers, when needed, planning and design services. Our in-house design team brings a wealth of experience from both municipal and corporate positions. Our design team can provide the following services:
